Donald Trump has claimed that Iran has issued new threats on his life, stating that the country “will try again” to assassinate him.

The former US President, currently running for office again, made this revelation on X (formerly Twitter).

“Big threats on my life by Iran,” Trump wrote. “The entire US Military is watching and waiting. Iran made attempts that didn’t succeed, but they will try again.”

He added, “Not a good situation for anyone. I’m now surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than ever before. Thank you.”

Trump’s remarks came after a briefing from US intelligence officials regarding the alleged assassination threat.
