Bobrisky has sought comfort in spirituality as bribery allegations swirl around him and operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
On Tuesday, September 24, social activist Very Dark Man (VDM) released an audio recording in which Bobrisky allegedly told a U.S.-based man that he paid N15 million to EFCC operatives to have money laundering charges against him dropped.
The U.S.-based man, who reportedly loaned Bobrisky four million Naira while he was in jail, sent the audio to VDM to expose the crossdresser after Bobrisky allegedly failed to repay the loan.
Bobrisky has since denied the bribery allegations, asserting that the audio is fake. Meanwhile, the EFCC boss has launched an investigation and invited both Bobrisky and VDM for questioning.
In response, Bobrisky shared a Bible verse on his Instagram Stories, seeking refuge in faith amidst the controversy.
