Social critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, will appear before the House of Representatives investigation panel on Monday, September 30, to address bribery allegations against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Last week, VeryDarkMan released an alleged audio recording of crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, in which he claimed to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to have a money laundering case against him dropped.

In the recording, Bobrisky further asserted that he spent his six-month jail sentence in an apartment arranged by his Godfather, rather than in Kirikiri prison as mandated by the court.

In response to these allegations, the House of Representatives invited VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky, and EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede to participate in the investigation.

In a post shared on X this afternoon, VeryDarkMan’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, announced that the social critic would be present at the National Assembly on Monday.

He stated, “We will be at the National Assembly tomorrow with our client @thatverydarkman to assist in investigations into allegations by Bobrisky that he/she paid N15m to have money laundering charges dropped by the EFCC and also bribed prison officials to stay in an apartment.”
