Rapper Folarin Falana, known as Falz, has issued a 24-hour deadline to VeryDarkMan (VDM) to publicly apologize and retract a statement made about him.
On Tuesday, September 24, social activist VDM shared an alleged audio recording of Bobrisky in conversation with a friend, where Bobrisky claimed that Falz and his father, Femi Falana (SAN), tried to secure him a presidential pardon while Falz was in prison.
In response, VDM expressed outrage and questioned why Falz and his father would associate with Bobrisky, even implying that Falz might be involved in questionable activities.
In a statement released by his father’s legal chambers, Falz confirmed that Bobrisky had contacted him on May 4, asking for N3 million to secure a VIP prison section, which Falz declined. He clarified that VDM’s comments falsely portrayed him as a homosexual, someone willing to manipulate the justice system, and a fake human rights activist.
Through his lawyers, Falz demanded an immediate retraction of the offensive and defamatory comments, along with a public apology on all platforms where the statement was shared.
The lawyers warned that if VDM fails to comply within 24 hours, legal action, including seeking monetary damages, will be pursued.
