Belgian Princess, Elisabeth, Stuns In Stylish Casual Outfit On Her First Day At Harvard

The heir to the Belgian throne, Princess Elisabeth, isn’t done with her academic journey just yet, as she embarks on a Master’s degree in Public Policy at Harvard University.

Her plans were first announced on May 8, shortly before she graduated from Oxford University with a 2:1 in History and Politics. On Wednesday, Elisabeth officially began her studies at the renowned American institution, with the Belgian Royal Palace sharing photos to mark the occasion.

For her first day, the 22-year-old royal chose a laid-back ensemble, wearing a brown vest and Tommy Hilfiger jeans, paired with green Adidas sneakers. She was spotted carrying her books, embracing the student life. The royal palace captioned the post: “Hello USA! Princess Elisabeth started her master’s degree in public policy at the @harvardkennedyschool.”

Fans were excited about Elisabeth’s Harvard adventure, with one joking, “Imagine becoming friends with her and then finding out she’s the crown princess of Belgium.” Another added, “A perfect degree choice for a future Head of State. Congratulations, Princess Elisabeth!”

Harvard has been a favored choice for royals, with King Frederik of Denmark attending for a year, and Empress Masako of Japan earning a bachelor’s in economics. Before pursuing higher education, Princess Elisabeth completed a two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWC Atlantic College in 2020, followed by a year of military training.

When she graduated from Oxford, most of her family traveled to celebrate with her, including King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, and her younger siblings, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eleanore. Her brother, Prince Gabriel, missed the ceremony due to his military commitments.

Elisabeth is set to make history as Belgium’s first Queen Regnant, succeeding her father on the throne.
