World’s Most Tattooed Woman Barely Recognizable After Inking 99.98% Of Her Body

An army veteran has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the most tattooed woman ever. Esperance Fuerzina has covered 99.98% of her body in tattoos and isn’t planning to stop there.

Her tattoos extend from her scalp to the soles of her feet, including her eyelids, eyeballs, gums, and tongue. The 36-year-old, based in America, received her first tattoo on her hip at age 21 and is thrilled with her progress since then.

She commented, “Being the most tattooed woman and holding the record for the most body modifications feels surreal. I’m grateful and excited about what the future holds—and, of course, I’m not finished.”

Before

In addition to her tattoo record, Esperance was awarded the title for most body modifications for a female, surpassing the previous record held by Maria José Cristerna, who had 50 modifications. Esperance boasts 89 modifications, which began with a tongue split and expanded to include five facial implants and various piercings on her ears, nipples, labia, and gums.

She has even had parts of her ears removed and is now almost unrecognizable from her previous appearance, which featured no facial tattoos and long brown hair.

After

Explaining her motivations, Esperance said, “Having led a nomadic life with limited space in my army pack, I felt that tattoos were something I could carry with me wherever I went.” She believes her body art “turns dark times into light,” serving as a reminder of her past struggles and personal growth.

Esperance does attract public attention, some of it negative. She added, “There’s still a long way to go in terms of accepting people and allowing them to express themselves without discrimination or judgment.”
