Footage has emerged of the moment Travis Scott was dragged out of the lobby of a five-star hotel by French cops early this morning and bundled into the back of a police car.
The American rapper, who late on Thursday witnessed the US basketball team seal their spot in the gold medal match at the Paris Olympics, reportedly got into a fight with a member of his security team just off the famous Champs-Élysées.
A shocking clip shared on social media showed how a team of armed police streamed into the lobby of Scott’s hotel in Paris’ 8th arrondissement, where they found hotel security trying desperately to separate the rapper and another man.
Scott, wearing a garish yellow jumper and a dazzling chain was pulled away by a pair of officers as hotel staff tried in vain to block the cameras.
Moments later the artist, head bowed in shame and putting up no resistance, was seen being hauled out of the hotel entrance and forced into the back of a cop car by three male officers.
Fans and onlookers descended on the car shouting the rapper’s name before the vehicle sped off, lights flashing.
The shocking incident is said to have occurred around 5am, just steps away from the Champs-Élysées.
