Josh Kettler, who took on the role of chief of staff at communication platform Cognixion in May, was instrumental in preparing for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s tour to Nigeria.

Previously, Josh joined Prince Harry at St. Paul’s Cathedral in May to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, alongside Prince Harry’s uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, and cousins George McCorquodale, Ned Spencer, Louis Spencer, and Viscount Althorp.

This isn’t the first instance of senior staff changes with the Duke and Duchess. In 2023, Archewell said farewell to producer Ben Browning and Fara Taylor, who managed marketing for their Netflix docuseries and Meghan’s Spotify podcast.

Earlier this year, in January, the pair also parted ways with Bennett Levine, who had been the manager of Archewell Productions after joining as a coordinator in 2021.

Josh’s departure coincides with Prince Harry and Meghan’s upcoming tour of Colombia, which begins later this week. This will be their second joint international tour since stepping down as senior royals and moving to the U.S. During their visit, they are set to explore Bogotá, Cartagena, and Cali.

The tour was announced earlier this month by Colombia’s Vice-President Francia Marquez, who stated: “During their visit, the Duke and Duchess will join me in exploring Bogotá and the Caribbean and Pacific regions of Cartagena and Cali. They will have a unique opportunity to engage with leaders, youth, and women representing the aspirations of Colombians committed to progress. Additionally, they will experience Colombia’s rich heritage.”

Marquez also noted, “Their visit is particularly timely, as it precedes the first Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children, which will be held in Colombia this November. The Archewell Foundation, established by The Duke and Duchess, is recognized for its global efforts in promoting a safer online environment.”

While Harry and Meghan have maintained a relatively low profile since relocating to Montecito, California, they recently appeared in an interview with CBS anchor Jane Pauley.

During their discussion, which introduced their new initiative, The Parents’ Network, the couple shared a few insights about their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Meghan commented, “Our kids are young; they’re three and five. They’re amazing. But as parents, all you want to do is protect them.”
