The Prince and Princess of Wales have been enjoying quality time with their three children during the school holidays.

They recently retreated to their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, where they filmed a congratulatory message for Team GB athletes following their achievements at the Paris Olympics 2024.

However, the Wales family is expected to head to Balmoral soon to join the King and Queen for their annual summer vacation in Scotland. In previous years, William, Kate, Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis (6) have flown economy to Aberdeen airport.

They are anticipated to be joined by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, and their respective families as the King hosts them. On Wednesday, the Balmoral Instagram account confirmed that the estate is now closed to the public for the year.

Traditionally, the King is officially welcomed to Balmoral with a guard of honor outside the gates, accompanied by Shetland pony Corporal Cruachan IV, the mascot of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

King Charles, 75, and Queen Camilla, 77, have been staying at Birkhall on the Balmoral estate after attending the Mey Highland Games earlier this month. The couple was also seen at Crathie Kirk for the weekly Sunday service.
