While Anne’s blonde hair darkened to brunette as she aged, her icy-blonde roots have clearly been passed down to her grandchildren. Three-year-old Lucas Tindall recently captured royal watchers’ attention with his striking blonde hair while supporting his mum at the Hartpury International Horse Trials last week.
Anne’s older grandchildren, Lena and Mia, also attended the event, both sporting their matching blonde locks. Zara’s brother, Peter Phillips, also had vibrant blonde hair in his youth.
Another trait that Zara and her mother share is an exceptional work ethic, something Zara discussed in a rare interview on the Seven Rob Burrows: The Total Sport Podcast.
“We were very lucky that we kind of got to do it a bit our own way. My family has a great work ethic, which I hope they instilled in me and is still going strong to this day—and hopefully, we can pass it on to our kids.”
It appears Zara’s three children are already following in her footsteps with a growing love for sports.
