In Bangladesh, anti-government protesters have looted several items from former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s residence shortly after she resigned and escaped to India.
Sheikh Hasina, 76, and her sister fled to India via military helicopter on Monday, August 5, amidst deadly protests over civil service job quotas, corruption, and economic issues.

At least 94 people were killed in the unrest, including 14 police officers.

Reports indicate that Hasina left the country just before protesters marched on the capital.
A new video circulating online shows protesters looting various items from Hasina’s residence, including underwear, kitchen utensils, and furniture.
