Oasis fans have started to turn each other as they hurl accusations that Gen Z have stolen all the tickets, despite being too young to remember the band’s heyday.Â
Furious punters – branding themselves ‘real’ fans – claim they have lost out on the chance to see the Britpop band’s comeback tour to youngsters who ‘only know Wonderwall’.
THE THREE VENUES FOR THE REUNION
The 17-date tour runs from July 4 to August 17, kicking off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium before heading to Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London, Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin.
The general release sale opened from 8am in Ireland and 9am in the UK.
Fans posted pictures of their ‘ticket stations’ made up of an army of laptops, iPads and mobiles in a bid to increase their chances of getting a highly sought-after ticket.Â
SOME WARNINGS
Ticketmaster has warned fans that tickets for Oasis shows are dwindling after the Saturday morning rush.
On the company’s website, it told those already in the online queue: ‘Tickets are still available, but inventory is now limited and not all ticket prices are available.’
But as tickets went on sale this morning, thousands were left ‘devastated’ after being unable to access Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours and SeeTickets.

Some were forced into a queue just to join the waiting room, while others reported getting kicked out of the ticket sales websites as they got to the front.
The ticket ‘bloodbath’ sparked furious reaction from the band’s legions of fans, with one saying: ‘Let’s hope they play their greatest hits for all the Gen Z wonderwallers.’
Another said: ‘A bit strange Gen Z going mental over seeing a band they know little about. And let’s hope Gen Z don’t use their phones too much at the gigs – it really isn’t Oasis style.’
