Matt Damon enjoyed a special night as he and his wife of 19 years, Luciana Barroso, attended the premiere of his latest film, The Instigators. Luciana, who co-produced the film with Matt, joined him on the red carpet in New York City on Wednesday, along with their four daughters.
Matt looked sharp in a beige suit with a white shirt, while Luciana stole the spotlight in a chic white dress complemented by a bold red lip, gold hoop earrings, a black YSL clutch, and black heels. Her long, wavy hair was styled into a ponytail, adding a touch of glamour to her look.
Their daughters—Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, Stella, 13, and Matt’s stepdaughter Alexia, 24—also made a rare public appearance at the event.
The Instigators, which hits Apple TV on August 9, features Matt and Casey Affleck as two robbers on the run after a heist goes awry. Director Doug Liman, who previously worked with Matt on The Bourne Identity, described the film as an “anti-Ocean’s Eleven” for its genre subversion.
Matt shared with ET how Luciana came to produce the film after initially passing on it. “Casey brought it to her, and she fell in love with the script,” he said. Although Luciana was hesitant to take credit, the other producers insisted she receive recognition for her hard work.
In addition to their film collaboration, Matt and Luciana are adjusting to new changes at home as their daughter Isabella prepares to start college at New York University this fall. Matt admitted to E! News that the transition is bittersweet, reflecting on how quickly time has flown. “It’s a surreal kind of time,” he said, noting that Isabella is known for being his toughest critic.
