Liam Gallagher has slammed claims Oasis are reuniting just because they’re ‘skint’.
Fans are preparing to scramble for tickets ahead of a tour tipped to rake in £400million for him and his brother Noel.
Noel once claimed it would take ‘half a billion pounds’ for him to reunite Oasis, but the demand for the band’s comeback appears to have become so financially lucrative that the 57-year-old rocker is finally coming to the table.
IS OASIS COMING BACK?
The Britpop icons’ return is now closer than ever after Liam, 51, teased an official reunion during his set at Reading Festival last night.
REASON FOR THE COMEBACK
It is believed a series of late night phone calls between the warring brothers sealed the deal on what would be one of the music events of the decade.
But according to music insiders, the key reason behind the band’s hotly-anticipated comeback is money.
Now Liam has taken to social media to tell critics, ‘Your attitude stinks.’
WHAT PEOPLE STILL THINK?
One user posted: ‘It’s better off left it the 90s … they must be skint.’ Another claimed that ‘cash is drying up’.
Others commented variations of ‘so they are broke then’ and saying it’s ‘nothing more than to build up hype’.
THE ‘SHUT UP’ RESPONSE
Liam responded to eleven people saying ‘your attitude stinks’ and telling others to ‘shut up’ on X.

A source told MailOnline previously: ‘Noel would only ever consider sharing the stage with Liam again if the money was astronomical and that’s what convinced him.
‘They haven’t buried the hatchet and Noel will always have huge reservations about being in a band with Liam as he’s so unpredictable – both on and off stage.
‘Certain conditions will have to be put in place in regards to safeguarding Noel’s presence in this comeback because he really can’t handle Liam’s form for being a liability.
‘But the sums of money being offered will obviously help through any potential ordeals. It’s life changing cash – even for somebody already very rich.’
It has been reported that the siblings have been having late-night conversations – and in the most recent of them, Noel agreed to reunite Oasis after being convinced by a £50M initial payday.
