Lagos State: Twenty People Detained Over Open Defecation

The Lagos State government has apprehended twenty individuals for practicing open defecation.

State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced the arrests on his X account on Sunday, August 25.

 “Open Defecation, during patrol and monitoring of Ojodu – Berger yesterday night and early hours of today, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps #LAGESCOfficial arrested 20 individuals for committing environmental infractions,” he wrote.
