Photos obtained by MailOnline show the King in high spirits, smiling as he drove their car, while Camilla waved to the crowd during their brief trip to Crathie Kirk, where the royals traditionally attend Sunday services.
Both were elegantly dressed in dark suits, with the Queen wearing a stylish hat.

Earlier in the week, Buckingham Palace issued a hopeful statement following an update on national news from Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Addressing recent riots across the UK, the King highlighted the “community spirit” displayed by many individuals.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: “In these calls, His Majesty received updates on the current situation and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the police and emergency services for their efforts to restore peace in areas affected by violent disorder.
“The King was also encouraged by the numerous acts of community spirit that have countered the aggression of a few with the compassion and resilience of many. It remains His Majesty’s hope that shared values of mutual respect and understanding will continue to unite and strengthen the nation.”
Charles is reportedly considering a future visit to offer direct support, provided it does not impose additional strain on police services.
On Wednesday last week, it was confirmed that the King is receiving daily updates following the recent riots triggered by the tragic stabbing deaths of three young girls in Southport.
