Elon Musk‘s X has flagged an article about Donald Trump potentially violating federal law with his Arlington Cemetery appearance as ‘spammy or unsafe’ as row over former president’s visit continues.
The billionaire tech mogul has been a staunch defender against increasing censorship laws, even going as far as defending Telegram CEO Pavel Durov who was arrested in France last week in connection to criminal activity on the messaging app.

He also recently branded the revelations that the Biden administration put pressure on Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, to censor COVID misinformation as a ‘First Amendment violation.’
However, after Trump’s staff shared a TikTok including footage from Arlington National Cemetery, which likely violates a federal law against using military ceremonies for campaigning purposes, X deemed an article on it as ‘spammy’.
This comes after a cemetery worker, who claimed two Trump staffers verbally abused and shoved her after she tried to stop them from filming in a restricted area of the cemetery, revealed she will not press charger for fear of ‘retribution’.
