Elon Musk’s interview with former President Trump on Monday evening, August 12, garnered a total of 1 billion views, according to the tech billionaire.
On Tuesday, August 13, Musk shared on his social media platform X, “Combined views of the conversation with @realDonaldTrump and subsequent discussions by other accounts now total ~1 billion.”
This update followed a previous post in which Musk noted that between 7:47 PM and 10:47 PM ET, President Trump’s Space post received 73 million views, while there were 4 million posts about the conversation between Musk and Trump on 𝕏, collectively generating 998 million views.
The two-hour audio-only interview, conducted on Twitter Spaces, featured Trump discussing various topics including immigration issues, inflation, an assassination attempt against him, and potential policies he might implement if he were elected on November 5.
Trump remarked during the interview, “I believe over 20 million people have entered our country, many coming from jails, prisons, or mental institutions, and some are terrorists. They’re not just coming from South America but from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East,” addressing Musk, who had endorsed Trump earlier this year.
