Donald Trump Shares AI-Generated Photos Suggesting Taylor Swift’s Endorsement for His Presidency

In an unusual move on social media, former President Donald Trump has suggested that pop star Taylor Swift is endorsing his 2024 presidential campaign, despite evidence to the contrary.

Trump posted on his platform, Truth Social, sharing several images featuring women in “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts.

However, many of these images appear to be doctored. Among them was an AI-generated photo of Taylor Swift dressed as Uncle Sam with the caption, “Taylor wants YOU to vote for Donald Trump.” Trump responded to this post with a simple, “I accept!”

This effort to link Swift with his campaign is misleading, as the singer has not endorsed any candidate for the 2024 election. Swift has previously endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 election and has openly criticized Trump.

After a controversial tweet from Trump in 2020, Swift voiced her discontent on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November.”

Trump’s latest attempt to associate Swift with his campaign is even more puzzling given her vocal opposition to him.

While Trump has praised Swift in a recent Variety interview, calling her “beautiful,” it is clear that her feelings are not reciprocated.

Currently, Swift has not endorsed any candidate for the upcoming election.

However, other celebrities such as John Legend, Megan Thee Stallion, and Barbra Streisand have expressed support for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Whether Swift will weigh in on the 2024 race remains uncertain, but Trump’s efforts to co-opt her image suggest he is keen for her support—even if it has to be fabricated.
