Zara Tindall Photographed For The First Time Since Princess Anne Was Discharged From The Hospital

The Princess Royal’s daughter was seen on Sunday participating in the Aston Le Walls International eventing competition.

An avid equestrian, Zara, 43, looked at ease and in high spirits as she competed in a showjumping event, smiling broadly.

For the occasion, the Olympian wore cream jodhpurs, black riding boots, and a navy Musto jacket, with her platinum blonde hair styled in a bun and her features subtly highlighted with makeup.

Zara’s appearance comes after her mother, Princess Anne, left Southmead Hospital in Bristol in June following a five-day precautionary stay after being injured at her home estate, Gatcombe Park.

Anne sustained minor head injuries and a concussion while walking on her estate, with her medical team suggesting the injuries might have resulted from an impact with a horse’s head or legs.

During her hospital stay, Anne was visited by her husband, Vice Admiral Tim Laurence, and her daughter Zara.

Following Anne’s discharge, Tim expressed gratitude to the hospital staff, stating, “I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the team at Southmead Hospital for their care, expertise, and kindness during my wife’s short stay.”

Princess Anne is now recuperating at Gatcombe Park and will return to public duties when her doctors deem it safe and comfortable for her to do so.
