The 40-year-old former boxing champion was dining with his two daughters at a restaurant in Hampstead, UK when the incident occurred with a cyclist riding on the pavement.
In a video shared on social media, Chisora was seen confronting the driver, who exclaimed, “Who are you putting your hands on, bro? I swear, get off me now.”
While Chisora’s response was not audible in the video, it’s reported that he asked the rider to leave out of concern that cycling on the pavement could endanger pedestrians and dogs.
The situation escalated as the driver grew more agitated, pushing Chisora and questioning him, “Do you think I’m mad, bro?”
In response, Chisora headbutted the man, causing him to stagger back as shocked onlookers reacted audibly.
One witness in the video commented, “Let’s get out of here.”
Chisora, a former British heavyweight champion who has held both the WBA and WBO International heavyweight titles, is currently preparing for his upcoming main-event fight against Joe Joyce at The O2 on July 27.
