A man took extraordinary measures on Tuesday to catch his suspected cheating wife, dressing in her clothes to raid a house where he believed she was with her lover. The incident occurred in Chegutu.
Wellington Phiri decided to disguise himself as a woman, wearing his wife Prisca Mhuru’s dress, bra, and headscarf, in order to gain entry to the house where he suspected his wife was staying with another man.
Upon arriving, he was stopped from entering by a man known as Mabhayo, whom he accused of having an affair with his wife.

The commotion attracted the attention of neighbors. “My neighbor has destroyed my marriage,” Wellington lamented. “I discovered that Mabhayo was housing my wife in his bedroom since he is single. I dressed up as a woman and went to Mabhayo’s house, knowing he is fond of women. His dog tried to scare me off, but I persisted and he eventually opened the door.”
He continued, “Once he realized it was me, he locked the door with my wife inside, grabbed an axe, and threatened me, forcing me to flee.”
However, sources informed H-Metro that Wellington has been confronting every man in the neighborhood, suspecting them of being involved with Prisca.
