Donald Trump has demanded FBI Director Christopher Wray be fired for refusing to say he saw cognitive decline in President Biden before he dropped out of the running for 2024.

‘I watched the Congressional Hearing today as Christopher Wray was asked the question whether or not he noticed any Cognitive Degeneration in his many conversations with Crooked Joe Biden,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social Wednesday as Wray was testifying before Congress about his near-assassination.
‘Wray should resign immediately from the FBI, and stop ‘sweet talking’ Congress every time he goes up, which he loves to do, because anybody can see that Joe Biden is cognitively and physically challenged, and if you can’t see that, you sure as hell can’t be running the FBI – Unless, that is, you want to illegally lead the Raid on Mar-a-Lago. Wray has to resign, and NOW, for LYING TO CONGRESS!’
Trump hired Wray to head the FBI in 2017.
At a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., veered off-topic to ask about Biden’s decline.

‘When did you notice his decline?’ Gaetz said.
‘In my interactions, in my role, all my interactions with the current president have been completely professional,’ Wray replied.
‘Right, but I mean the cognitive decline,’ the lawmaker pressed.
‘Again, I don’t meet with him very often, but what you’re describing is not something that I’ve observed during my interactions with him,’ Wray explained.
Wray described his interactions with Biden as ‘uneventful and unremarkable.’
‘It never occurred to you that this guy wasn’t up to it in all these briefings you did?’ Gaetz pushed again.
‘As I said, my briefings with the president have all been completely fine,’ Wray insisted.
‘Were they between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.?’ Gaetz wanted to know. ‘We hear those are his good hours.’
‘Times that I have briefed, I’ve included outside those hours,’ the FBI director observed.
Biden stepped down from the 2024 race on Sunday after steep pressure from Democrats who had woken up to concerns about his advanced age and cognitive decline after the debate with Trump.
