After enduring an extraordinarily difficult six months, 42-year-old Prince William is finally showing signs of relaxation.
His June birthday was celebrated with the release of a joyous and refreshingly informal photograph of him with his three children—Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six—leaping over a sand dune in Norfolk while his wife, the Princess of Wales, captured the moment with her camera.
Additionally, the Prince delighted football fans with his enthusiastic cheering and air punching as England advanced to the final of the UEFA Euro 2024 championships in Berlin after the Three Lions defeated the Netherlands.
Royal author Robert Jobson said: “William seems more relaxed and at one with himself than we have seen in a while. He loves the football, so seeing him celebrate is not unusual – but it was just so passionate.”
Although George and William were heartbroken by England’s 2-1 defeat to Spain in the Euro final, the Prince and Princess sent a heartfelt message of support to the Three Lions.
They praised the squad, stating that their “teamwork, grit, and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old.”
Following Gareth Southgate’s announcement of his resignation as England manager, William thanked him for being an “all-round class act.”
