Teenager, 19, who had his head kicked by cop at Manchester Airport SUFFERS ‘cyst’ on the brain

58

The teenager kicked in the head by a police officer during a fracas at Manchester Airport has a cyst on the brain according to a CT scan, his lawyer has claimed.

THE ASSAULT

Fahir Khan, 19, was kicked and stamped on by a police officer at Manchester Airport – while his older brother Amaad was seen in footage being hauled across the floor and pinned down by cops.

A woman understood to be their mother was also pushed.

The brothers are well known charity workers from Rochdale, per report.

WHAT SCAN SAYS

Soon after footage of the incident went viral, Fahir began feeling unwell and went to hospital for a medical scan.

This afternoon their lawyer Akhmed Yakoob claimed the teenager has been left with a cyst on the brain.

CAUSE OF CYST

It is not known what has caused the cyst – which is a build-up of fluid in the brain – as these can be pre-existing conditions caused by traumatic injuries, infections and other disease.

It comes after one of the officers involved in the incident has been suspended by Greater Manchester Police pending an IOPC investigation, with protests expected in Rochdale later.

Earlier Mayor Andy Burnham said the incident was ‘not clear cut’ but was very ‘disturbing’.
