Six dead – including two children – as motorbike and car CRASH

Six people including two young girls were killed in a fireball horror crash on Sunday afternoon.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?

A man and a woman and two girls in a Ford Focus died when their car crashed into a motorbike with a man and a woman on it at 3.54pm near the village of Newmillerdam in West Yorkshire.

Footage of the tragic aftermath showed a burnt-out car and a large police presence on the A61 between Wakefield and Barnsley.

Police described the collision as an ‘absolutely tragic incident’ and called for witnesses to come forward with dash-cam footage.

It is understood the Ford Focus burst into flames after colliding with the motorbike. Images show the blackened and mangled wreckage of the vehicle in a grass verge.

Debris, believed to be from the motorbike, could be seen strewn in the middle of the road.

Emergency services were scrambled to the accident shortly before 4pm but were unable to save the six people.
