Princess Charlotte Unveils New Gold Bracelet Highlighting Special Word In Arabic

Princess Charlotte looked delighted on Sunday as she joined her mother, the Princess of Wales, at Wimbledon for the highly anticipated men’s singles final.

Accompanied by Kate’s sister, Pippa Matthews (née Middleton), the mother-daughter duo enjoyed an exciting afternoon of sporting action from their front-row seats in the exclusive Royal Box. Both Charlotte, nine, and Princess Kate, 42, showcased their impeccable style.

Princess Kate dazzled in a rich, violet-hued midi dress from Safiyaa, while Charlotte charmed in a floaty polka dot dress by Guess. Keen-eyed royal fans also noticed Charlotte’s cluster of dainty bracelets, including a new gold link bracelet featuring a turquoise nazar amulet.

The small eye bead, translating to ‘sight’ and ‘surveillance,’ is an amulet believed by many to ward off the curse of the evil eye, which is thought to be inspired by envy and cause harm to the recipient.

Wearing such an amulet is seen as a way to protect oneself from bad luck and negative energy.

Charlotte’s bracelet also featured her name written in Arabic, adding a sweet and personal touch that almost went unnoticed. While the origins of Charlotte’s jewelry remain unknown, it’s possible that the bracelet came from Jordan, a previous holiday destination for the family.
