The Duchess of Sussex, 42, watched proudly as her husband received the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service, a recognition that has sparked significant controversy.
Meghan looked radiant in a bespoke gown strikingly similar to her 2018 Stella McCartney second wedding dress.
Both designs feature a high-neck halter top and a long flowing skirt, with the only difference being the neckline; her wedding dress was more fitted, while the Oscar de la Renta gown had draped fabric around the neck.
She completed her look with black Celine sharp sandals, priced at around £550.
Meghan has often chosen gleaming white dresses over the years, embracing a ‘bridal beauty’ aesthetic.
Celebrity stylist Rochelle White told FEMAIL that Meghan’s choice of dress could be a way of showing solidarity and support amidst the controversy surrounding the award.
Rochelle suggested that the couple might still be in their ‘honeymoon phase,’ with Meghan wanting to stand by her husband.
“I think they are celebrating their love, and the support is there due to the controversy of the award win. She wants to show a united front, even if that is through fashion statements and items.”
