The 60-year-old is the daughter of Princess Margaret and photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones. Interestingly, she bears a striking resemblance to one of her royal family members.
Many say Lady Sarah looks a lot like Princess Charlotte, but her resemblance to her aunt, the late Queen Elizabeth II, is especially uncanny. One royal fan noted, “Charlotte really looks like Sarah, and Sarah looks like the late Queen,” while another added, “She is so beautiful! And kind! And she looks so much like the Queen!”
Queen Elizabeth reportedly “adored” Sarah, and they grew even closer after Princess Margaret’s death in 2002. The Queen often invited her niece to join her at her favorite retreat, Craigowan Lodge in Aberdeenshire, during the late summer months.
Lady Sarah also has a very close relationship with King Charles. The two are known to enjoy painting together at Balmoral whenever they have the chance.
Lady Sarah served as chief bridesmaid at her cousin Charles’ wedding to Princess Diana and is Prince Harry’s godmother. She is also the godmother to Prince Edward’s daughter, Lady Louise, and the Duke of Gloucester’s daughter, Rose.
