Katie Holmes sported a bruised face and eye as she stepped out in New York City on Monday.
The Dawson’s Creek star, 45, stepped out make-up free with a dark bruise under her left eye, with apparent swelling on the right side of her face.

The reason for the injury is not known.
The star wore a blue tee and cap with damp tresses as she stepped out in the city.
