The Prince and Princess of Wales posted an adorable photo of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as they cheered for England during the Euro 2024 final from their home.
In the candid shot from behind, nine-year-old Charlotte and six-year-old Louis wore personalized England kits while watching the match in Windsor. Meanwhile, Prince William and Prince George supported the Three Lions from Berlin.
William and Kate’s personal message read: “@england, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain. W & C.”
Unfortunately, Gareth Southgate’s squad fell short as Spain secured a decisive last-minute goal to claim victory and the trophy. Cameras captured William and George’s reactions to England’s near-equalizer.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte joined her mother, Kate, at the Men’s Singles Final at Wimbledon, accompanied by Kate’s sister, Pippa Matthews.
The trio watched Novak Djokovic compete against Carlos Alcaraz, with Alcaraz winning the trophy for the second consecutive year. This marked Kate’s second public appearance of the year following Trooping the Colour, amidst her ongoing cancer treatment.
As patron of the AELTC, the Princess did not attend the women’s singles final on Saturday. Wimbledon chairwoman Debbie Jevans presented the trophy to Barbora Krejcikova on her behalf.
