WHY HE WAS JAILED

Linton Weirich was jailed in April for burglary after stealing £65,000 worth of goods from a safe in a luxury flat in Kensington.

Among the items he stole in a raid in March 2022 were jewellery, belts, handbags, a laptop and a suitcase.

Weirich was jailed for four and a half years for burglary dwelling and theft on June 7 at Kingston Crown Court.

The 36-year-old, from west London, was filmed on a mobile phone allegedly having sex with former prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu.

She appeared in court yesterday charged with misconduct in public office.

Photographs posted on his Instagram page show Weirich with the same arm tattoo as the man in the alleged X-rated video.

WHAT WAS SAID?

Weirich has a partner who is seven months pregnant.

A source unidentified close to the partner, told MailOnline: ‘This is the last thing she needs in her condition, it’s extremely upsetting.

‘This stupid video has affected her health, she was hospitalised at the weekend through stress. She fears it will bring on premature labour.’

SOUSA IS ARRESTED

Ms De Sousa Abreu, 30, who is married, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Saturday before she could catch a flight to see relatives in Madrid, a court heard yesterday.

She was attempting to travel on a Portuguese passport, which was seized by the Metropolitan Police.
