Four males have been found dead after a car crashed into a tree in the early hours of this morning.

The victims were inside a vehicle that came off a road and collided with a tree in Gloucestershire, police said. The tragic collision took place on the A436 in Ullenwood early this morning.

Police on patrol discovered the single vehicle collision – involving a black Renault Clio – shortly before 2am.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: ‘The vehicle had left the road and collided with a tree, and four males who were inside the vehicle were deceased.

‘Urgent work has been ongoing to identify all of those involved and notify their next of kin.’

The road was closed in both directions between the A417 Air Balloon roundabout and Severn Springs while a collision investigation continued. It has now reopened.
