A CCTV footage capturing a housemaid urinating in her employer’s mug in the kitchen has circulated widely on social media.
In the video, the employer, speaking in Hausa, expressed disbelief that despite providing the maid with an ensuite room, she chose to urinate in the kitchen using her mug.
The employer also mentioned paying the maid more than required and noted that the maid eats the same food prepared in the household.
The maid was visibly remorseful as the employer threatened to involve the police.
