Ben Affleck is seeking support from his former wife, Jennifer Garner, amid his current marital turmoil with Jennifer Lopez.
The 54-year-old actor was photographed visiting Garner’s home on Sunday, June 30. Affleck has been residing nearby in a rental property in Brentwood as speculation swirls regarding the status of his marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
Garner, 52, has reportedly been a constant source of support for Affleck and has encouraged him to “work on his marriage” with Lopez.
Meanwhile, Affleck and Lopez appear to be on the brink of a breakup. Page Six recently reported that the high-profile couple is selling pieces of art from their $60 million home, which they purchased in 2023 and put on the market just a year later.
Speculation about their relationship intensified when Affleck moved out of their family home to be closer to his three children with Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. He relocated his belongings while Lopez, 54, was on a solo trip to Europe.
Despite efforts to present a united front, sources suggest that Lopez and Affleck have been living apart since March. Affleck remains “very protective” of Lopez, but rumors of their separation gained traction in May after he notably missed accompanying her to high-profile events like the Met Gala, which she co-chaired.
In May, a source told Page Six that Affleck had “come to his senses” about his marriage with Lopez and was considering ending it.
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” the insider told the publication. “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
