Autumn Daly, a contestant on “Big Brother 2” back in 2001, has been arrested in Texas on a theft charge.
Police apprehended Daly last month in Lewisville, TX, based on an outstanding warrant related to theft. According to authorities, they located Daly at a local retail store she owns named Encore! Encore!
After confirming the existence of warrants, Daly acknowledged them but had not resolved them yet, leading to her arrest.
Daly faces charges of property theft between $30,000 and $150,000, stemming from an alleged incident in 2023. She posted a $2,500 bond.
Regarding the specifics of the alleged theft, inquiries to law enforcement for further details were declined due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
When contacted by TMZ for comment, Daly responded, “It’s a retaliation attempt on the part of a former business associate who sued me in civil court and lost. It won’t stick and I’m in the process of suing them for $500K as well, so best I don’t say anything further.”
Daly gained recognition during her stint on ‘Big Brother,’ where she was the third contestant evicted after nearly three weeks in the reality competition house. Dr. Will Kirby ultimately emerged as the season’s winner.
