Anant Ambani, the son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and his wife Radhika Merchant concluded their extensive $600 million wedding celebrations this past weekend.
The traditional Hindu ceremony on July 12 was followed by a ‘shubh ashirwad’ ceremony and a ‘mangal utsav’ reception in Mumbai, attended by 14,000 guests.
The festivities were extravagantly opulent, featuring multiple stunning wedding ensembles for the bride, with her final gown being particularly memorable.
Captured in photos by Greg Swales, Radhika posed against a backdrop of plush red velvet curtains in her molten gold reception gown.
The gown featured a structured Dolce & Gabbana corset bodice adorned with shimmering embellishments, complemented by a satin embroidered skirt. Matching fabric draped gracefully across her shoulders and arms, cascading down into a flowing train. Completing the look were a striking gold and diamond necklace and earrings, adding to the ensemble’s statement appeal.
Sharing more details about her resplendent bridal outfit, stylist Rhea Kapoor wrote on Instagram: “Radhika Ambani for her Reception in @dolcegabbana Alta Moda Sardegna 2024 and a custom @anamikakhanna.in Couture Sari.”
Business magnate Mukesh Ambani, who serves as the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, reportedly boasts a net worth of $116 billion, ranking him as the wealthiest individual in Asia and the 11th richest globally.
Therefore, it’s no wonder that his son’s wedding, attended by prominent figures such as Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Tony Blair, and Boris and Carrie Johnson, spared no expense, particularly when it came to their attire choices.
