A 27-Year-Old Indian Travel Influencer Tragically Passed Away After Accidentally Falling Into A 300-Foot Gorge While Filming A Video

In a tragic incident, a 27-year-old travel and lifestyle influencer tragically lost her life after accidentally falling into a gorge while filming a video in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, India.

Aanvi Kamdar, a chartered accountant based in Mumbai, was on a monsoon outing with seven friends when the incident occurred near the Kumbhe waterfall at Mangaon in Raigad on Tuesday.

According to a police official on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Kamdar, who resided in Mumbai’s Mulund area, had ventured to the waterfall with her friends to enjoy the rainy season.

While capturing video footage of the scenic surroundings, she unfortunately slipped and fell into the 300-foot-deep gorge.

Her friends promptly alerted the authorities, and local rescuers arrived at the scene to transport her to the nearby Mangaon Taluka Government Hospital.

Despite receiving medical attention, Kamdar succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
