2024 Euro Match: Prince William Scores A Fashion Goal With A £185 Accessory

It appears the Prince of Wales has been taking style tips from his wife in the art of diplomatic dressing.

Prince William, 42, attended England’s Euro 2024 quarter-final match against Switzerland last Saturday, experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions during the nail-biting game, which ended with the Three Lions winning a penalty shootout.

The future king was smartly dressed in a navy-blue suit with a white shirt and a blue patterned tie. Upon closer inspection, royal watchers noticed something fitting about his accessory.

William sported a £185 football print silk tie by Italian fashion house Ferragamo.

The footballs and goalposts on the tie create an optical illusion, forming a geometric pattern.

It’s the perfect accessory for football-loving William, who is an avid Aston Villa fan and President of the FA.

The Princess of Wales also owns a Ferragamo clutch, which she debuted during the couple’s Caribbean tour in 2022.
