Captured by his mother, Kate, in Windsor earlier this month, the image features the young prince sitting on a stone bench, leaning slightly forward, and smiling at the camera.
Dressed in a smart jacket and a white shirt, George also wears a beaded bracelet on his left wrist.
Unlike the colorful birthday photos of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis earlier this year, Kate chose to share this portrait of George in black and white.
The caption read: “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!”
Continuing the new approach, they adopted for Princess Charlotte’s ninth birthday in May and Prince Louis’ sixth birthday in April, Prince William and Kate shared the new photo of George directly on social media on his special day, July 22, rather than sending it to the press under embargo as was previously customary.
This new image of George follows his recent trip to Germany with his father, Prince William, to watch the England vs. Spain match in the Euro 2024 final. Unfortunately, England suffered a 2-1 defeat with Spain securing a last-minute goal to claim the trophy.
George, who shares his parents’ passion for sports, has joined them at several major events in recent years, including the Six Nations, Wimbledon, and the Euros. Like his father, William, he is also a dedicated Aston Villa supporter.
