It was on Monday for a very special reason that Princess Eugenie was photographed taking in an incredible moment all to herself.
Posting a candid photo of herself paddle-boarding in the midst of a large body of water against the most perfect sunset backdrop, the Princess, 34, shared the moment on Instagram.
Wearing what seemed like a summer dress, Princess Eugenie looked immensely happy as she navigated the surf. Eugenie inserted a simple love heart emoji next to the picture.
Eugenie, who represents the Blue Marine Foundation, released the updated photo with a special purpose in mind before this week’s World Oceans Day.
She told her followers: “Ahead of World Oceans Day I’m reflecting on some of the beautiful moments the Ocean can give us. World Oceans Day – 8th June.”
Another special moment shared by the Princess showed Eugenie on board a boat against a picture-perfect blue sky.
She continued: “I’m also proud to be an ambassador. Blue Marine Foundation is a charity dedicated to restoring the ocean to health by addressing overfishing, one of the world’s biggest environmental problems. This is a short video I took when I spent time with them.”
In addition to her work with the Blue Marine Foundation, which HELLO! collaborated with the previous year, Eugenie is pleased to have founded the Anti-Slavery Collective with her childhood friend Julia de Boinville.
The organization, which works to combat modern slavery, had a large number of celebrities and royals attend its inaugural gala at Battersea Arts Centre last year.
Eugenie shares her two children, August, age three, and Ernest, age one, with her husband Jack Brooksbank. When she’s not advocating for causes important to her heart, she’s a loving mother to them both.
