In a recent interview with Good Morning America, Travis Kelce shared that he is concentrating on the present and avoiding thoughts of the distant future.
The football player, now transitioning into a TV personality and set to make his acting debut later this year, addressed ongoing rumors surrounding a potential proposal to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
“I’m so in the present, man. Just being present during the now is something I really pride myself on,” the 34-year-old told GMA correspondent, Will Reeves. “And I try not to get too far down the road because you just never know what opportunities are gonna present themselves. So, I know I got a 2024 football season coming up that I’m pretty fired up about.”
During the off-season, Travis has been traveling extensively with Taylor, 34, as part of the Eras Tour, visiting Australia, Asia, and various parts of Europe alongside the singer. The Eras Tour is set to kick off in the UK on June 7, with performances scheduled across the continent until the end of the summer. Following this, Taylor will return to North America.
“I’m so fortunate and so grateful [for] everything that’s come my way in life,” he reflected in the interview. “I feel like I’m on top of the mountain, even after winning’ the Super Bowl and having’ the off-season that I’m having. And just looking forward to what’s next in life, man…I’m so grateful. So appreciative. And yeah. Livin’ the dream, baby.”
Travis achieved back-to-back NFL Super Bowl wins in 2023 and 2024 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He first met Taylor through mutual friends after he missed the opportunity to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number at her Kansas City concert in July 2023.
Taylor, who kept her six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn private, surprised fans by going public with her romance with Travis. She has attended numerous NFL games and has been featured on the social media accounts of Travis’ friends and their families.
Taylor also included references to their new relationship in her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, notably on tracks like “The Alchemy” and “So High School,” where she mentions the game of Marry, Kiss, Kill involving three different people
