An American tourist has shared a video of her emotional reaction to seeing London’s Elizabeth Tower for the first time.
SHE GOT EMOTIONAL
Macy Thompson, 24, from Texas, shared a video on TikTok of her seeing the city’s monument for the first time where she is seen covering her hands over her mouth in shock and bursting into tears.
The Gen Z TikTok user then appeared to stumble part way down to the floor as she expressed her excitement and shock at the mighty Westminster clock.
She captioned the video: ‘Nothing could have prepared me for this moment. The emotions took control.’
The 24-year-old, from Dallas, Texas, was filmed by a group of friends who shared the emotional first time experience with her.
While the TikTok creator’s friends fell about laughing at the dramatic reaction, passers by seemed typically unfazed as they watched the emotional event.

British viewers of the video were quick to flood the comments with hilarious situations in which they feel as much excitement as Macy.
