A field supervisor for Gulfmark Energy, Tyler Hardy said: “I was the one who found the body so yes; I can say 100% that nobody messed with Noah. I was the first person there. I know who and what I saw.”
On September 4, 2023, while driving, Hardy came across a teenager lying in the fetal position beside Oklahoma Highway 81, with blood pooled around his head. The young man was naked, except for mismatched shoes.
Hardy recounted to the Mail that he and another truck driver who arrived soon after both called 911, initiating a months-long investigation.
Hardy also mentioned to the outlet that Noah’s friend Jack Newton arrived at the scene shortly thereafter, noting, “Jack was the only person who walked up to to Noah, and he told me who it was, until the Terral fire and Jefferson County Sheriffs showed up.”
Many questions persist about Noah’s death, as an autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE on May 13 indicates “multiple blunt force injuries” were found on his body, yet the official determination of how he sustained them remains inconclusive.
The nine-page report provided new details about events preceding Noah’s discovery on the Jefferson County highway, but the circumstances leading to his presence there remain unresolved.
Noah’s brother, Dailen Presgrove said: “We’re still at square one. The report answers some questions but also raises many more. … I’m at a loss of words.”
Noah’s comprehensive autopsy revealed extensive injuries, including a fractured skull, swollen and lacerated brain, and broken ribs. His death was attributed to “multiple blunt force injuries” affecting his head, neck, torso, and other extremities.
