It was revealed on Sunday that Talulah, 38, and Thomas, 34, married in a romantic ceremony, as photos of the pair’s big day were obtained by The Sun.
However pair’s romance came as a shock amid an abrupt end to her relationship with artist Matthew Rice – who was 23 years her senior.
And before that, she had a turbulent on-off relationship with billionaire Elon Musk – who she divorced twice and revealed was her first proper boyfriend.
WHEN TALULAH MARRIED ELON MUSK
Talulah married Elon Musk in 2010 after meeting in 2008 shortly after his split from wife Justine Long.
Talulah and Elon became engaged just 10 days after first meeting, and she joined him and his young children in his almost empty 20,000 sq ft Los Angeles mansion.
They divorced two years later, before remarrying in 2013. The billionaire filed for divorce in 2014, then withdrew the filing. Two years later, Talulah filed for a divorce which was finalised later that year.
HOW ELON MUSK SWEPT HER OFF HER FEET
The pair met at London nightclub Whisky Mist and Musk wooed her by talking about rockets.
Talulah said of their first meeting in the new BBC documentary: ‘My first impressions were that he was very sweet, he seemed quite shy.
‘He said “may I put my hand on your knee” and I said, “OK go on then”, I thought it was quite sweet that he asked.’
She continued: ‘He said I don’t usually do this but I’d love to see you tomorrow can we meet for breakfast. So we had breakfast.
‘And at the end of breakfast he said would you come and have lunch with me so we went for lunch. And then he said would you come for dinner.
At the time, Elon said: ‘We took some time apart for several months to see if absence makes the heart grow fonder, and unfortunately it did not.’
TALULAH TOLD HIS DAD ABOUT ELON MUSK
The ill-fated love story between Talulah and Elon nearly never-was when she first told her father Doug Milburn, formerly head of the National Crime Squad, and later a writer of TV police procedurals, about who him.
She recalled: ‘I said, “Daddy, I’ve met this amazing man who makes rockets.” [He asked] “What’s his name?” He Googled Elon + rocket + electric car and exclaimed, angrily, that Elon was married with five children.’
He replied: ‘You’ve been picked up by a playboy. Text that man you’re not going for dinner with him and he’s a b**tard.’
Talulah went on: ‘I was sad, because my judgement on people is usually quite astute’, before revealing she consulted a pal who told her he was already split from his ex-wife Justine, after he filed for divorce six weeks previously.
AFTER HER SPLIT FROM ELON
After her split from Elon, the actress had been quietly seeing Matthew Rice – who was 23 years her senior – in the wake of his 2018 divorce from ceramics designer Emma Bridgewater, to whom he was married for 30 years.
A source said at the time: ‘Talulah and Matthew were on-off for a long time, but it seems that romance fell by the wayside to make room for Thomas.

IT ENDED BETWEEN TALULAH AND MATTHEW
‘Talulah was dating Matthew right up until the spring, and he’s still a little shocked and saddened it has all ended between them.’
In photos obtained by The Sun, the actress, 38, looked sensational in a stunning white gown as she tied the knot to fellow acting star Thomas, 34.
The St Trinian’s actress got hitched to the Game of Thrones and Maze Runner star at St George’s Church in Anstey, Hertfordshire.
Thomas, who played lovesick child Sam in the 2003 rom-com Love Actually opposite on-screen dad Liam Neeson, looked dapper as ever in a royal blue tuxedo.
He appeared to channel his inner-Bridgerton for the occasion as he stepped out in some pinstriped grey trousers and a floral waist jacket.
HOW TALULAH MET THOMAS
The pair, who met on the set of Disney+ Sex Pistols drama Pistol in March 2021, were spotted riding off into the sunset as they lovingly waved goodbye to their guests in a carriage.
To announce their engagement in 2023, Talulah chose Twitter as her method of confirmation.
With a selfie alongside the words: ‘Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!’, Thomas took to Instagram.
Alongside a shot of the duo on a gondola, Thomas wrote: ‘Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged. Love is all around X’, in a reference to his most iconic role in 2003’s Love Actually, where the Troggs’ track Love Is All Around features.
Thomas and Talulah went public with their romance at the BAFTAs last March … their romance began when the Maze Runner actor co-starred with Talulah in Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistols drama Pistol.
