South Africa: Woman Allegedly Killed By Her Boyfriend

In Inanda Township, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, a 31-year-old woman named Phume Nhlangulela was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend.

The Women For Change advocacy group revealed this information in a statement on Monday, June 10, 2024.

According to the statement, Phume went missing, prompting her family to search for her. They discovered her half-naked and decomposing body inside a room allegedly rented by her boyfriend at Amatikwe in Inanda on June 5, 2024.

Phume was found lying on the floor, with her hands above her head and covered with a blanket. She had sustained a visible head injury, and it is believed she was strangled.

The boyfriend fled the scene and is currently on the run.

After the family shared the tragic story on social media, they were contacted by several individuals, including someone who accused the suspect of murdering another woman at her place in Durban.

As of now, no arrests have been made.
