Former Super Eagles Goalkeeper Pastor Peterside Idaho has urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to sanction Victor Osimhen if he does not apologize for disrespecting Finidi George.
The Napoli striker recently launched a scathing attack on the former Super Eagles head coach during an explosive Instagram Live session.
In his outburst, a visibly angry Osimhen condemned Finidi for an alleged comment questioning his commitment to the national team.
Finidi George was quoted as saying he wouldn’t beg Osimhen to play for the national team after the player withdrew from their last two 2026 World Cup qualifiers due to injury.
Peterside Idaho, a former BCC Lions of Gboko player, criticized Osimhen for “showing irresponsibility” and insisted that Osimhen should issue a public apology to Finidi George or face a ban from the national team for disrespecting the Super Eagles legend.
