Sarah Ferguson looked elegant in a cream bouclé jacket paired with a navy A-line skirt and a matching wide-brimmed hat.
Upon arriving at the parade ring, she was warmly greeted with hugs and kisses by Mike and Zara Tindall. This marks another significant appearance with the royal family in recent months.
Sarah also joined the royal family for Christmas at Sandringham, attended King Constantine’s memorial in Windsor in February, and participated in the Easter Sunday service in March.
Her latest appearance follows her statement ruling out the possibility of remarrying her former husband, the Duke of York.
In an interview, Sarah said: “I get asked that all the time [about whether they will remarry]. We’re happy with the way we are right now, thank you.”
Sarah and Prince Andrew have remained close since their separation in 1992 and subsequent divorce in 1996, continuing to live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Andrew, who did not accompany his ex-wife and daughters to Royal Ascot, has made only a few public appearances since stepping down as a senior royal in November 2019 following his BBC Newsnight interview regarding his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In February 2022, the Duke reached an undisclosed out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre, who sued him, claiming she was trafficked by Epstein to have sex with Andrew when she was 17, a minor under US law. Andrew has strongly denied these allegations.
