Christopher Brosnan, the son of James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, was recently seen in public, marking a rare appearance as he ran errands in London on Friday.

About two decades after his father, aged 71, ceased support due to Christopher’s addiction struggles, the 51-year-old appears to be going about his daily life.

Christopher previously worked alongside his father as an assistant director on films such as ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’, ‘The World Is Not Enough’, and ‘Robinson Crusoe’.

Following the public revelation of his addiction battles, he had largely stayed out of the spotlight. However, on Friday, he was photographed leaving a Waitrose grocery store in London.

He sported a casual look, wearing a red hoodie, olive green gilet, jeans, and Converse sneakers. His shaggy brown hair peeked out from underneath a navy blue baseball cap worn backwards. Christopher carried a reusable Waitrose bag as he walked alone down the street.

Christopher’s biological parents are Cassandra Harris, Pierce’s first wife, and her ex-husband Dermot Harris. After Dermot’s passing in 1986, Pierce adopted both Christopher and his late sister, Charlotte Brosnan.

Cassandra tragically passed away in 1991 from ovarian cancer, leaving behind one child with Pierce: their son Sean Brosnan, now 40.

Pierce later remarried Keely Shaye Brosnan, with whom he has two sons, Paris, 23, and Dylan, 27.

Throughout much of his life, Christopher has grappled with substance abuse issues, leading Pierce to sever financial support in 2005, seeking proof of Christopher’s commitment to recovery.

“Christopher is still very lost. He’s got a rough life, but I know where he is. I can only have strong faith and believe he will recover,” Brosnan said in 2005, in an interview with Playboy Magazine.
