Charles Spencer seems to have had a hectic week, having announced his divorce on Saturday, just days after police were called to his family home, Althorp House, following evidence of a crime on the grounds.
However, he appeared to be in good spirits and cherished time with his beloved family on Sunday, as he provided fans with an update on his return to social media.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, the father of seven shared a heartfelt message with his followers.
Princess Diana’s brother posted a photo of a rugby pitch at sunrise taken from the stands, accompanied by the caption: “Wonderful to witness @northamptonsaints becoming rugby premiership champions with my sons yesterday.”Â

The historian and author has two sons: his heir, Louis, Viscount Althorp, born in March 1994, and Edmund Spencer, born in 2003.
The heartwarming family outing took place the day after Charles announced the unfortunate news of his divorce from his third wife, Karen Gordon.
Charles Spencer first publicly disclosed the news to the Mail On Sunday, adding: “I just want to devote myself to all my children, and to my grandchildren, and I wish Karen every happiness in the future.” He also called the news “immensely sad”.
